The most widely used headlamp in the world. It has Petzl's patented rotating bezel, which focuses the beam and doubles as an on-off switch.

Comes with standard bulb, for light to 30 meters, and a backup bulb behind the headpiece. Optional halogen bulb gives light to 100m. Uses a flat 4.5 V battery, or, with adapter, 3 AA alkaline cells, or use Petzl's rechargeable battery, with an accessory mains charger or 12V car charger. Battery not included. Spare bulbs are available.

Petzl rechargeable battery
Unlike alkaline cells, which fade gradually, the Petzl rechargeable battery maintains its intensity until it fails. Each charge gives:

3 1/2 hours of light with a halogen bulb,
7 hours of light with standard bulb.

It may be recharged up to 1000 times, so it's much kinder to the environment.

Small and lightweight, the MICRO is the perfect backup or emergency headlamp. And it's the world's best for reading in a tent, or a bed, even with a hood or a hat on. It uses just two AA alkaline cells, and comes with a standard bulb and a spare mounted on board. Halogen bulb optional.

The cold weather headlamp. It's designed to keep the battery close to the body so it stays warmer and burns longer. The ARCTIC has the same bezel and reflector as the Zoom and Mega, and comes with halogen bulb.

It has all the virtues of the Zoom plus a unique battery case that holds three C cells for up to 30 hours of light. Or, flip the converter over and use 3 AA cells for lighter weight .

Comes with a halogen bulb installed and a standard bulb in the spare bulb compartment. The battery compartment can be mounted on your belt or on the head band.

Petzl Duo

The DUO is water-resistant. What's more, it has two bulbs, standard and halogen. You can use the halogen when you need the power, and flick the switch over to the standard bulb to conserve battery life. The DUO is ideal for wet caves, canyoning, kayaking, and any wet weather sports or rescue situation. The Duo uses 4 AA alkaline cells. It has one 6 V halogen bulb and one 6 V standard bulb.

Safety Head Torch for Potentially Explosive Environments. EEx e ia IIC T4

The DUO Atex designed for both "intrinsic safety" and "increased safety", it is the ideal head torch for potentially explosive environments. It is designed for durable, lightweight and efficient light output with two levels of light, one adjustable and powerful high beam and a secondary economical low beam.
The DUO Atex features a patented zoom lever that allows you to focus the main light to the required distance under any circumstances.
The battery compartment is designed so that even in potentially explosive environments, the battery may be safely changed.
The DUO Atex requires a custom made key to gain access to the bulbs. This prevents the bulbs from being tampered with in any potentially explosive environment. It is supplied with four bulbs, two working and two spares. It also features a locking system to prevent accidental discharge of the battery during transporting or storage. Like other PETZL head torches it has an adjustable, elastic head band and will fit all head sizes.

The DUO Atex is guaranteed for 3 years against any faults in materials or manufacturing.

These chemical lights are totally sealed. Bend the outer plastic tube and a vial inside is broken, the chemicals mix and hey presto you've got light. Can be used for markers during night dives, to mark routes through smoke filled spaces, provide light in potentially hazardous gas filled spaces, or even as an emergency light to exit from a cave or darkened building.
